1965 Chevrolet Impala
In 1965, the Chevy Impala got a full revamp. Unlike its earlier counterparts, the '65 Impala was available as a 4-door sedan, 2- and 4-door hardtop, station wagon (with seating for either 6 or 9 passengers), and as a convertible.
In total, there were around 56,600 six-cylinder models, 746,800 V8 Impalas, and several thousand Super Sport models produced. There were over one million Impalas sold in just 1965, making it the world's biggest-selling full-size car.
