It's one of the most exotic engines ever put in an American production car, with a sound and throttle response more reminiscent of Ferrari than traditional Corvette muscle. Car and Driver tested the Z06 at 0–60 mph in 2.6 seconds and 10.5 seconds in the quarter mile, squarely in elite supercar territory!
