No Reserve Classics proudly presents this 2018 Superformance GT40 MKI, 427 CI, 5-Speed Manual, Right Hand Drive Pro-Touring Restomod!
Power comes from a Roush 427 CI V8 featuring eight individual throttle bodies, each topped with polished air filter housings. Gumout-style valve covers, silver ceramic-coated headers, and a detailed engine bay showcase its motorsport DNA. The engine is paired to a Quaife 5-speed manual transaxle, delivering direct, mechanical engagement. A battery disconnect switch adds race-inspired functionality. Cooling and airflow are optimized through functional side air intakes and race-bred ducting.
The exterior of this 2018 Superformance GT40 MkI is a striking tribute to one of the most dominant endurance race cars ever built. Finished in iconic Gulf Oil–inspired Light Blue and Orange livery, the car immediately evokes the legendary 1969 Le Mans-winning GT40, capturing the unmistakable visual identity that defined an era of international motorsport. Superformance builds its GT40 models using licensed and correct blueprint specifications that faithfully replicate the original Ford GT40's proportions, stance, and structural layout. The result is a body that is not simply inspired by the original-but engineered to mirror it with precision. The car rides on staggered 15-inch BRM-style pin-drive wheels secured by polished knock-off spinners, wrapped in Avon CR6ZZ race tires. This combination preserves the correct vintage motorsport stance while delivering modern grip and performance capability. Even the smallest details reflect historical accuracy-period-style lighting, proper body contouring, and correct panel fitment reinforce the authenticity of the build. Superformance's use of proper construction methods and adherence to original GT40 specifications ensure that this car maintains the visual and structural integrity expected by serious collectors.
The interior of this 2018 Superformance GT40 MkI stays true to its endurance-racing roots, faithfully replicating the compact, driver-focused layout of the original GT40 using correct blueprint-based dimensions and right-hand-drive configuration. The cockpit is trimmed in black leather upholstery with fixed-back racing seats featuring ventilation grommets and Willans multi-point harnesses, creating an authentic competition feel. A leather-wrapped steering wheel on a quick-release hub sits ahead of a 200 MPH speedometer and full Smiths instrumentation, including oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, voltage, and fuel level gauges. A roll bar and removable rear bulkhead reinforce the race-inspired environment, while GT40-branded carpets subtly refine the space. Though purpose-built and mechanical in character, air conditioning has been discreetly integrated, allowing this Le Mans-inspired machine to remain both authentic and road-usable.
Beneath the surface, this 2018 Superformance GT40 MkI is engineered with a monocoque-style chassis architecture that closely mirrors the structural design of the original Le Mans-winning GT40, built using correct blueprint specifications and proper construction techniques. More than two-thirds of the rolling chassis components are interchangeable with original GT40 parts, reinforcing its authenticity and engineering integrity. The suspension features adjustable coilovers for precise handling control, while Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors provide confident stopping power. A Quaife 5-speed manual transaxle is integrated into the rear-mounted drivetrain layout, supported by a transmission cooler for durability. Additional functional details include a front-end lift system for improved drivability, an aluminum pedal box, engine bay roll bar, and properly routed race-inspired ducting-all combining to deliver the structural rigidity and mechanical feel expected from a true GT40 continuation build.
Superformance is a globally respected manufacturer of continuation and component vehicles, best known for producing some of the most accurate and high-quality recreations of legendary race cars ever built. Founded in the 1990s and operating through an international production network, Superformance specializes in officially licensed continuation models that faithfully replicate iconic vehicles while incorporating modern engineering standards. Unlike traditional kit cars, Superformance vehicles are factory-assembled rolling chassis built to exacting specifications, often utilizing original blueprints, correct proportions, and period-authentic construction techniques. Their GT40 program is particularly significant. Superformance GT40 models are widely regarded as some of the most dimensionally accurate and structurally authentic GT40 continuations available today. Many components are interchangeable with original GT40 parts, and the cars feature monocoque-style chassis construction true to the race-bred design of the 1960s endurance legends.

At the age of 18, Joe purchased his first classic car – a 1972 Chevelle SS454 WVIN – and was bit by the bug ever since. He continued buying classic cars and found the rush of purchasing, restoring and driving these symbolic machines of American heritage very addictive. After realizing that his parent’s garage was not big enough to hold them all, he then started to rent a small warehouse. His girlfriend at the time, now his lovely wife, sat him down one day and told him that he had an issue. He was also advised to, moving forward, sell a car before he could buy another one. At that point, through many walks of life, he realized that there are plenty of other people just like him who enjoy owning and driving a piece of American history.
In 2010, he realized that he could quench his desire to drive as many American classics as he desired, as long as he could make room for them, so he ramped up car purchases. You can say it is no coincidence that the founder/owner of No Reserve Classics is named Joe, since he sells American classics that the “average Joe” can afford…but don’t get it twisted, there is nothing average about him or No Reserve Classics.
We enjoy what we do so much that the bottom dollar does not affect our decision making.
We choose to satisfy our passion for restoring classic cars by simply selling them to restore more American muscle.
— Joseph Hanna, Founder/Owner
Typically when you see classic cars, they’re either at car shows or have been sitting in the owner’s garage for quite some time not getting the attention they need. We take those cars and truly bring them back to life by fulfilling light restoration work and getting them to a so-called “turn-key” standpoint where you can hop in and reliably drive them every day.

When a vehicle is auctioned off, they all start at $0.01 and go to the highest bidder at the end of seven days…period. No Reserve Classics is an unprecedented and one of a kind online-based auction company that lets the market decide what our investment classic cars are worth. We are NOT run by used car salesmen and we are ALL passionate collectors who have years of experience owning and working on classic cars. We aim to make buying and selling your dream car as simple and as gratifying as possible.
