This 2016 Factory Five GTM is a purpose-built, mid-engine American supercar engineered to deliver serious performance, aggressive styling, and a raw driving experience that few cars can match. Finished in striking yellow with a black vinyl stripe, this GTM commands attention from every angle. Its bodywork is composed of lightweight aluminum and composite panels mounted over a high-strength steel space-frame chassis featuring an integrated six-point roll cage and contoured roof bars. Optional carbon-fiber rocker panels, a functional roof scoop, aluminum VRaptor Speedworks louvers, fog lights, rear diffuser, and its unmistakably low, wide stance give this GTM the presence of a true exotic.
At the heart of this machine is a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 built by SMC Performance in Romulus, Michigan and rated at 430 horsepower. Supplied as a complete intake-to-oil-pan package, the LS3 features a 58X crankshaft reluctor, 90mm fly-by-wire throttle body, modified valley cover with an adapter for the oil-pressure sensor, reversed intake and valve covers, C6 Corvette oil pan, and trunk-mounted coolant air-bleed tube. The mid-mounted LS3 is paired with a Mendeola SDR5 five-speed manual transaxle, putting the driver in complete control of its naturally aspirated V8 power. A custom wiring harness was supplied by SMC Performance, with additional electrical wiring and components provided by Painless Performance Products of Fort Worth, Texas. A Kooks exhaust system exits aggressively from either side of the license plate, giving this GTM a soundtrack every bit as serious as its appearance.
Under the ducted composite hood are the battery, master cylinders, air-conditioning components, and a DeWitts radiator with twin electric cooling fans, helping keep the mid-mounted LS3 operating at temperature. The GTM's performance-focused chassis is backed by GM-sourced suspension components with custom coilovers and Koni dampers, while C5 Corvette calipers clamp vented and cross-drilled brake rotors for serious stopping capability.
Filling the wheel wells are staggered 18-inch Forgestar wheels measuring 9 inches wide up front and a massive 12 inches wide at the rear, wrapped in Nitto tires sized 245/40 front and 335/30 rear. Combined with the GTM's lightweight construction, mid-engine configuration, wide rear footprint, and low center of gravity, the chassis was designed around one objective-serious driver involvement and performance.
The cockpit is every bit as purposeful as the exterior, finished predominantly in black with contrasting yellow trim along the center console. Fixed-back black leather seats with suede inserts are equipped with STV Motorsports five-point harnesses, holding the driver and passenger firmly in place. A three-spoke steering wheel mounted to an adjustable steering column sits ahead of a carbon-fiber instrument bezel housing Factory Five-branded instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer, fuel-level gauge, oil-pressure gauge, and coolant-temperature gauge. The digital odometer shows just under 2,783 miles.
Despite its competition-inspired attitude, this GTM also delivers the equipment needed to make time behind the wheel more enjoyable. Additional features include Vintage Air heating and air conditioning, power windows, a glove box, Factory Five-branded floor mats, and a 6.2-inch Pioneer DVD receiver with door-mounted speakers. It is an impressive combination of race-inspired engineering, V8 performance, and usable street-car amenities.

We pride ourselves in displaying some of automotive history’s greatest and most rarest cars ever built. Where names such as Corvette, Super Sport, BOSS 429, MOPAR and HEMI are common place. We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
