"2010 Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Coupe
""The 2010 Nissan 370Z sports coupe is less a car and more a rocketship-like force of nature wrapped in a taut and sexy metallic wrapper. Just nail the throttle and the car takes off with enough force and gusto to pin you back in your seat as your ears are filled with the gloriously symphonic howl emanating from the engine bay. This is a driving experience that is on the endangered species list. The 2010 Nissan 370Z is a hardcore, unapologetic sports car. Just as God and Nature intended it to be."" Motorauthority.com
For consignment, a 2010 Nissan 370Z 40th anniversary coupe with a title verified 35,668 actual miles. Only 1,000 Anniversary editions were made and this one's received some modifications and also comes with some of its original parts.
Exterior
It was called ""dual shark's teeth"" by Car and Driver, and the distinct front fascia of the car still looks fresh some 16 years later, owing in part to the headlights that sweep back flush with the body clad in 40th Anniversary Graphite Metallic paint. From there, the VIS Racing carbon fiber hood leads to a steeply raked windshield that gives way to a roofline that immediately dips rearward, terminating in more flush attributes of dynamic tail lights that contour around body panels and flank a decklid spoiler. Wide hips in the form of fenders extend past the lights giving the car its distinctive gluteus maximus rear profile. 19-inch Rays Engineering wheels are appropriately geometric in design and carry low profile tires with lightly staggered width. Our consignor states there are just over 1,000 miles on the tires. Imperfections include minor inclusions, scuffs, surface scratches, chips, and chin and front spoiler scrapes.
Interior
The door actuator on the graphite doors stands out as a design highlight on otherwise simple and handsome door panels that include a vibrant Crimson Red suede insert, both doors presenting cleanly and each with a can shaped contour for drinks. Sporty bucket seats await occupants, here with red leather sides and suede inserts with tall headrests, with some light wear noted on the driver's ingress point. It feels high tech, or at least race inspired from that point forward, with a nice ergonomic steering wheel and mix of gauges and buttons ahead and the Z's traditional row of canted gauges in the center, all backlit in orange. A stitched door hides a cubby in the center stack, then you'll find the AM/FM/CD radio and A/C panel below it and your hand will fall naturally on the shifter in the center console with coordinated stitching and aluminum framing, and all of it is clean. Black carpet in the footwells and hatch areas all appears without flaws and a formed charcoal headliner is up above.
Drivetrain
Under the louvered hood is the 3.7 liter DOHC V6, here with a Stillen Gen 3 cold air intake and a factory rating of 332 horsepower. It's mated to the 6-speed manual with Rev Match Sport mode and power is routed to the rear axle with 3.692 gears and viscous limited slip differential. A Mishimoto radiator has been added and the battery is new.
Undercarriage
Dry conditions are found along with some surface rust. The dual exhaust has been modified with a ProTuning Solutions cat back system and wide exhaust tips. Akebono sport brakes supply the power discs on all four wheels and the fully independent suspension includes coil springs in the front and rear.
Drive-Ability
No rattles or shakes, just a solid and well preserved Japanese sports car that does everything well and sounds fantastic! Great power, super handling, and good visibility up front. No complaints here as all functions on the uncomplicated Z car work as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.
The original hood, catalytic converters, air intake boxes and cat back exhaust come with the car if you want to return it to stock configuration. This is a rare anniversary edition that is representative of a great Z generation and low mileage means there are miles of smiles ahead!
