This 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec combines the focused factory performance equipment of Hyundai’s R-Spec package with a selection of well-chosen performance and appearance upgrades. Finished in Tsukuba Red with a cloth interior, the car retains the straightforward, driver-oriented character that distinguished the R-Spec from other Genesis Coupe models.
Power comes from Hyundai’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder paired with a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. The R-Spec package added meaningful performance hardware from the factory, including a Torsen limited-slip differential, Brembo braking system, track-tuned suspension and front strut tower brace.
The car currently presents on 18-inch CCW wheels wrapped in 235/40ZR18 tires. Its original 19-inch gunmetal R-Spec wheels are included with the sale. Exterior upgrades include a carbon-fiber trunk lid and ARK C-EX carbon-fiber grille, while the original trunk lid is also included.
Performance upgrades include an aftermarket intake, upgraded charge piping and intercooler, along with a Borla exhaust. The car is accompanied by its original catalytic converter and mid-pipe as well as a 3-inch downpipe with high-flow catalytic converter.
Documentation includes the original window sticker, confirming this Genesis Coupe was delivered new as a 2010 2.0T R-Spec with a total MSRP of $24,830. The combination of its factory R-Spec performance equipment, period-style modifications, retained original components and original documentation makes this an interesting example of Hyundai’s early rear-wheel-drive performance coupe.
