No Reserve Classics is honored to present an extraordinary collector-grade offering: this 2006 Ford GT, finished in the most desirable Mark II Black, showing just 32.8 delivery miles, and documented as 1 of only 14 factory stripe delete examples produced. Preserved in true ""in the wrapper"" condition, this is not simply an exceptional Ford GT, it is one of the most important first-generation Ford GTs to ever surface publicly.
A Ford GT for the Most Discerning Collector
This is not just another Ford GT. It is not simply a low-mile example. It is a highly documented, factory stripe delete, delivery-milage, Mark II Black legend. It is preserved at a level that places it among the most exclusive first-generation Ford GTs in existence. For the collector seeking the best, not merely good, not merely rare, but truly exceptional, this represents a very limited opportunity. Cars like this do not trade on ordinary terms, and they do not surface often. When they do, they command the attention of the most serious buyers in the market. Opportunities such as this are extraordinarily rare. The combination of delivery miles, documented rarity, elite color specification, preserved originality, and investment-grade presentation places this Ford GT in an entirely different category from any other example in existence. This is the kind of car that belongs in the finest collections in the world.
A Modern American Icon Born from Racing Greatness
Built for 2005 and 2006, the Ford GT was Ford's definitive tribute to the legendary GT40, the machine that ended Ferrari's dominance at Le Mans and delivered four consecutive victories from 1966 through 1969. More than a retro-inspired supercar, the Ford GT was created to embody Ford's racing heritage, engineering strength, and spirit of uncompromising performance. The result was an instant modern icon. With limited production, unmistakable styling, and true analog supercar character, the first-generation Ford GT has become one of the most significant American collector cars of the modern era. Among those cars, the truly elite examples are defined by specification, mileage, provenance, and originality. This example checks every box.
An Exceptionally Rare Stripe Delete Example
What sets this GT apart even further is its status as a factory documented stripe delete car. Of the already limited production run, making it one of the rarest and most desirable specifications available. Presented without the traditional racing and side stripes, this Ford GT has a far more sinister, refined, and aggressive presence, allowing the dramatic body lines and muscular proportions to speak entirely for themselves.
Further enhancing its presentation, this example also features a rear bumper delete performed by the dealer, giving the car an even cleaner and more aggressive appearance. The result is one of the purest and most visually striking Ford GT presentations imaginable.
32.8 Original Miles, Preserved in True Delivery Condition
Showing just 32.8 original miles, this Ford GT remains preserved in a condition few collector vehicles ever achieve. Describing it as ""low mile"" does not go far enough. This is a true delivery-mile example, still retaining the feel, presentation, and integrity of a car that has been intentionally protected as an automotive asset rather than casually used as transportation. This Ford GT's condition reflects exactly that philosophy. The car presents as a time-capsule example, preserved with extraordinary care and restraint. Vehicles of this caliber are no longer judged merely against other Ford GTs; they are judged against the best preserved collector automobiles of any marque, globally.
Supercharged Performance with Analog Purity
At the heart of this Ford GT lies the legendary 5.4L supercharged V8, delivering 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Paired to the revered 6-speed Ricardo manual transmission, it offers the kind of mechanical purity and driver connection that has all but disappeared from the modern supercar world.
This drivetrain was engineered to honor Ford's racing legacy while delivering world-class performance, including 0–60 mph in approximately 3.5 seconds and a top speed exceeding 200 mph. Yet beyond the numbers, the Ford GT's greatest appeal is the experience: the sound, the presence, the manual gearbox, and the raw honesty of a car built before digital isolation took over the exotic car segment. In this example, the drivetrain remains highly original, further reinforcing the vehicle's desirability as a serious collector car.
Factory Options & Distinctive Features
This Ford GT is equipped with an exceptional specification that complements its rarity and collector status, including:
Factory BBS lightweight forged wheels
Goodyear Eagle F1 tires
Brembo performance braking system
McIntosh premium audio system
Chrome strut bars visible beneath the rear glass
Dealer rear bumper delete, offering a subtle visual nod to the legendary GT40
Finished in Mark II Black, the paint presents with a deep, rich, mirror-like finish that accentuates every line, vent, and curve of the GT's unmistakable design.
The absence of stripes further enhances the car's visual drama, giving it a uniquely elegant and menacing character.
A Story of Preservation
This Ford GT's history further strengthens its standing as a true investment-grade collector piece. Originally delivered to a private collector in California, the car was preserved from day one as a display-quality example rather than driven in any meaningful capacity. In care of the most recent owner, this exceptional vehicle remained carefully stored in a climate controlled garage environment, protected from the elements and maintained with preservation in mind. This collector-grade automobile was intentionally purchased and held as a long-term investment, with full recognition of the increasing significance of first-generation Ford GTs in the modern collector market. Rather than disturb its originality, the decision was made to preserve the car in its delivery-mile condition, an approach that serious collectors will immediately recognize and appreciate. Today, this GT stands as a rare convergence of documented rarity, ultra-low mileage, preserved originality, strong provenance, and elite presentation. These are precisely the traits that define the most important collector examples.

At the age of 18, Joe purchased his first classic car – a 1972 Chevelle SS454 WVIN – and was bit by the bug ever since. He continued buying classic cars and found the rush of purchasing, restoring and driving these symbolic machines of American heritage very addictive. After realizing that his parent’s garage was not big enough to hold them all, he then started to rent a small warehouse. His girlfriend at the time, now his lovely wife, sat him down one day and told him that he had an issue. He was also advised to, moving forward, sell a car before he could buy another one. At that point, through many walks of life, he realized that there are plenty of other people just like him who enjoy owning and driving a piece of American history.
In 2010, he realized that he could quench his desire to drive as many American classics as he desired, as long as he could make room for them, so he ramped up car purchases. You can say it is no coincidence that the founder/owner of No Reserve Classics is named Joe, since he sells American classics that the “average Joe” can afford…but don’t get it twisted, there is nothing average about him or No Reserve Classics.
We enjoy what we do so much that the bottom dollar does not affect our decision making.
We choose to satisfy our passion for restoring classic cars by simply selling them to restore more American muscle.
— Joseph Hanna, Founder/Owner
Typically when you see classic cars, they’re either at car shows or have been sitting in the owner’s garage for quite some time not getting the attention they need. We take those cars and truly bring them back to life by fulfilling light restoration work and getting them to a so-called “turn-key” standpoint where you can hop in and reliably drive them every day.

When a vehicle is auctioned off, they all start at $0.01 and go to the highest bidder at the end of seven days…period. No Reserve Classics is an unprecedented and one of a kind online-based auction company that lets the market decide what our investment classic cars are worth. We are NOT run by used car salesmen and we are ALL passionate collectors who have years of experience owning and working on classic cars. We aim to make buying and selling your dream car as simple and as gratifying as possible.
