"This is a one owner trike from new with only 2,119 original miles. Twenty years ago, it was not uncommon for motorcycle buyers to order a conversion kit to make a two-wheeler into a three-wheeler. One of those conversions has arrived at MotoeXotica Classic Cars, a 2005 Harley-Davidson FXSTBI ""Raider."" The transmission was converted to be automatic. Put it in hear and go. No need to pull in clutch at stops and goes!
This adult motorized tricycle has a stylized fiberglass body with clean lines and custom finishes, including custom pinstriping. The trike sports a blacked-out, aggressive and minimalist look, including air cleaner cover, oil tank and rear fender supports. The aggressive stance is enhanced by with a low Badlander seat and drag-style handlebars. The trike's paint and trim are in excellent condition. Practicality is added with a two-cubic-foot, lockable trunk. There are also numerous led lighting upgrades on the bike, best seen at night!
In back are Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires, combined with Lehman's ""no-lean"" suspension design for stability. Up front is a single wheel with front disc brake. All of the cycle's wheels present a chrome finish.
Power for this Harley conversion comes from a black, powder-coated 1450 cc, counter-balanced V-twin engine and is backed by a five-speed transmission and a carbon fiber belt final drive.
Other features include a low, Badlander seat, rear luggage rack, front-mounted storage bag and dual sideview mirrors.
A 2005 Harley-Davidson FXSTBI Raider trike is a custom conversion of a 2005 FXSTBI Softail Night Train motorcycle. There was no factory-built Harley-Davidson trike with the name ""Raider"" in 2005. The Raider name refers to a conversion kit, most notably produced by Lehman Trikes, based out of Spearfish, South Dakota.
Lehman built kits for brands like Harley-Davidson, Honda, and Victory. A Lehman trike kit is a conversion that transformed a standard two-wheel motorcycle into a three-wheel trike. These kits were produced in the USA and are known for providing stability and comfort to the rider. Many kits include a trunk, passenger backrest, and floorboards, enhancing functionality for a trike.
