This 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is anything but an ordinary C6. Built as a highly individualized grand-touring and performance car, it combines the lightweight, balanced C6 platform with a supercharged 6.0-liter LS2, extensive body modifications, upgraded braking and exhaust components, a fully customized audio installation, and a long list of detail work documented through receipts and build records.
The centerpiece is Chevrolet's 6.0L LS2 V8, which has been transformed through an A&A polished centrifugal supercharger system utilizing a Vortech head unit and upgraded 8-rib drive arrangement. Supporting modifications include a custom induction system, upgraded fuel rails, performance tuning, and a high-output polished alternator. The engine bay has been extensively detailed with polished components and custom trim while still retaining the recognizable LS2 architecture.
Performance is backed by hard numbers. An included Walsh Motorsports Dynojet sheet records a maximum of 559.22 horsepower and 501.20 lb-ft of torque, giving this Corvette substantially more output than a stock LS2 C6 while maintaining the broad, usable power delivery that makes a centrifugal-supercharged Corvette such an entertaining street car.
Exhaust upgrades include Stainless Works headers and X-pipe components paired with a Corsa quad-tip cat-back system, giving the LS2 a much more authoritative exhaust note. An additional 12-inch-by-3-inch straight-pipe section is included with the sale for the next owner, although emissions and road-use requirements should be verified locally.
The exterior has received an equally extensive transformation. The black finish is complemented by a more aggressive ZR-inspired front fascia, side skirts, rear diffuser, Stinger-style hood and rear spoiler. Mesh grille treatments, blackout details, custom Corvette emblems, Supercharged badging, tinted lighting and stealth-style wipers continue the monochromatic theme.
One of the most dramatic modifications is the vertical-door conversion, which gives the car a true show-car element while preserving the original C6 door structure and cabin access.
The stance is completed by polished multi-piece Asanti wheels with an aggressive staggered tire package. The photos show 275/30ZR19 tires up front and massive 345/25ZR20 tires at the rear, giving the car both the visual width and contact patch appropriate for its supercharged output. Cross-drilled rotors are visible at all four corners, and the documented build includes Hawk HPS street brake pads.
Inside, the Corvette continues the custom theme without abandoning the fundamentally driver-oriented C6 cockpit. A pair of AutoMeter Cobalt gauges mounted along the A-pillar monitor boost and fuel pressure, providing useful information for the forced-induction setup.
Entertainment has been extensively upgraded around a Pioneer touchscreen head unit and a substantial JL Audio system. Documentation lists multiple JL Audio amplifiers, component speakers and dual subwoofers, with the rear cargo compartment transformed into a custom installation featuring molded enclosures and an illuminated Corvette centerpiece. HushMat sound treatment was also incorporated into portions of the cabin and cargo area.
The customization is unusually well documented. An included build summary lists the original purchase and numerous modifications, with $77,711.19 shown as the total amount invested at the time the document was prepared, including the vehicle's original purchase cost. Supporting paperwork for many of the components and installation work is also included.
The sale additionally includes the factory manuals and case, factory hard keys, one operational key fob, an additional unprogrammed fob, two Code Alarm remotes, battery trickle charger, a pair of 56-inch Race Ramps, removed ZR-style side skirts, and additional related components.
With 39,944 miles, documented forced-induction performance, an extensive modification history, custom bodywork, staggered 19- and 20-inch wheels, a serious audio system and nearly every area of the car personalized, this C6 represents a very different proposition from a lightly modified Corvette. It is a completed, documented custom build intended for the enthusiast who wants supercharged LS performance, unmistakable road presence, and a Corvette that will not disappear into a row of stock C6s.
