Motorcar Classics is proud to present this Ferrari combination of Rosso Corsa over Beige leather, this 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider presents as one of the more thoughtfully specified and carefully preserved examples available today, having traveled only 12,455 miles since new. The car was optioned with red brake calipers, electrically operated seats, a rear Challenge grille and front Challenge-style grille, Scuderia Ferrari shields, and color-matched roll bar upholstery a factory-correct sporting specification that gives the Spider genuine visual presence with the top stowed. All original paint remains, and the car is accompanied by a clean Carfax and service history from new. Further protecting that original finish, paint protection film has been professionally installed on the hood, fenders, A-pillars, and front bumper, shielding the most vulnerable surfaces from road debris and rock chips while preserving the factory paint underneath.
Mechanically and cosmetically, this Spider has been spared the issues that commonly plague the era: there are no sticky buttons, and the dashboard shows no shrinkage two details that separate a properly cared-for 360 from the many that require costly interior remediation. A major service was performed in June of 2023, so the significant maintenance is behind the next owner. A Tubi exhaust system is fitted, unlocking the full character of the 3.6-liter flat-plane-crank V8, and the original exhaust is included in the sale for those who wish to return the car to factory configuration. The car also comes complete with its full complement of tools and manuals, car cover, seat covers, steering wheel cover, and disc player.
Most importantly, this Spider retains its six-speed gated manual transmission. The 360 marked the last generation of Ferrari V8 road cars offered with a true three-pedal manual, and the overwhelming majority of Spiders left Maranello with the F1 paddle-shift gearbox making manual-equipped cars a distinct minority within an already limited production. In the years since, the collector market has decisively rewarded the manual: gated-shift 360s consistently command a substantial premium over their F1 counterparts, and the gap continues to widen as the analog driving experience becomes increasingly unrepeatable. Combined with low, documented mileage, original paint under protective film, complete service records, and desirable Challenge-inspired options, this is a Spider that satisfies on both counts a car that delivers the tactile, mechanical engagement that defines the analog Ferrari era, while occupying the segment of the market with the strongest demonstrated appreciation and the clearest long-term collectability.
