"Appeal To All-
The 2001 Ford Mustang GT is part of the fourth generation (1994–2004) of Mustangs, The GT holds appeal as an affordable V8-powered muscle car with classic styling built on a solid platform.
Mix Of Original And Upgrades-
This 2001 GT convertible is mostly original, but with some serious mechanical upgrades. The current owner has had the pony for over 10 years. The mostly original Oxford White finish has been well maintained and is in good condition. Accents include a Cervinis fiberglass hood, rear spoiler, suspension lowering package and 18"" American Muscle alloys that mount Nitro NT555 Z-rated performance radials. The manual convertible top features a custom styling bar w/LED lighting.
All Pony Inside-
The Graphite cloth interior is in very good condition. Convenience features include cold A/C, power tinted windows, tilt wheel, dual airbags, cruise control and power locks. An Autometer gauge package shows ProCharger boost and air/fuel temperature monitoring. Tunes are provided courtesy of a raging AM/FM/CD 6-disc changer sound system.
Pony With Power-
The GT is powered by a built 4.6L SOHC V8 that is equipped with a ProCharger Supercharger package and matched ECU. Other mechanical upgrades include:
• Ford Cobra internals
• BBK 78mm throttle body
• High-flow injectors
• BBK headers and X-pipe
• Borla ATAK exhaust
Much of the upgrade work and tuning was performed by ProDyno in Fort Mill, SC. The furnished dyno sheet indicates 357bhp-386lb/ft. Torque is delivered to a built four-speed automatic gearbox by a 2,500-stall convertor that is backed by a Ford 8.8"" differential w/32-spine HD axles and 3.73:1 gear.
Putting Power To The Pavement-
The chassis is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes with drilled rotors. Front suspension is MacPherson strut with coil springs and a stabilizer bar. The rear suspension is a live axle with coil springs. Mustang GTs are equipped with a horizontal axle damper and rear stabilizer bar.
This carefully built Mustang GT will certainly be relocating to a new garage very soon – so why not make it yours!
