Chevrolet first introduced their Corvette in 1953, only making about 300 units all with the Blue Flame inline 6 engine. The next year they made over 10 times the amount they made in the previous year. The Corvette became an instant classic and still grows in popularity today. 45 years later Chevrolet made this Indy 500 Corvette pace car. A 5.7 LS1 paired to a Tremec 6-speed transaxle powers this Corvette giving it excellent weight distribution and performance. The headers were swapped for a set of stainless steel, cat-less headers making it sound great. With only ~3,300 miles, this Corvette is very well-preserved with no signs of wear on the paint or interior. The paint scheme is really unique with a purple and yellow Indy 500 livery.
