The 1996 Toyota Century Limousine (internally known as part of the G40/VG40 series) is an ultra-rare, hand-built Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) luxury vehicle historically reserved for dignitaries, royalty, and top-tier executives. Unlike the later V12 iterations (GZG50) that debuted in 1997, the 1996 model belongs to the first generation and is powered by a 4.0-liter Hemi-head V8 engine (the 5V-EU) paired with an automatic transmission. The extended-wheelbase limousine variant features an elongated cabin with a factory vinyl/aluminum roof, plush wool-cloth seating instead of flashy leather, and an extensive array of 1990s executive technology. The primary focus of the Century Limousine is the rear passenger compartment, designed to isolate VIPs from the road and provide a mobile office and lounge. - Rear Passenger Controls: Rear occupants have full control over the audio system, climate, and can even control and adjust the front passenger seat to maximize legroom. - Executive Seating: The left-rear seat (behind the front passenger) usually includes a retractable leg-rest pass-through and built-in massaging functions. - Period Technology: Features include privacy curtains/blinds, a rear-center armrest dictaphone/microphone for taking notes, a built-in cassette recorder, and individual cigar lighters/ashtrays for all four doors. 18,371 Kilometers Third party pre-purchase inspections are welcomed and encouraged.
