This one family owned 1994 Mercedes Benz SL500 was originally purchased in Connecticut with a European delivery in Munich Germany. Featured in a Black Pearl Metallic exterior with a Parchment leather interior. Power for this SL500 is provided by the 5.0-liter 32-valve V8 with multiport fuel injection and is paired with a 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. The engine is factory rated at 315 horsepower and 347 lb.-ft of torque with an electronically limited top speed of 155mph. The total retail price of this Mercedes was 89,550.00.
1994 was the last year of the ""closed deck"" engine block design for Mercedes Benz and many enthusiast and mechanics view the pre-1995 versions of the M119 5.0-liter V8 to be the pinnacle of over engineered German craftmanship.
