"1993 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 - 40th Anniversary • 6,403 Miles • 2-Owner • Clean Carfax • Two Roof Panels (Painted & Glass)
A time-capsule C4 halo car in the most collectible spec: 1993 ZR-1, 40th Anniversary in Ruby Red Metallic over Burgundy with just 6,403 actual miles, a 6-speed manual, two owners, clean Carfax, and both targa tops (body-color painted and transparent glass). The '93 model year ushered in the final, most potent LT5 tune-405 hp-and this example presents beautifully top to bottom, with crisp Anniversary cues and an exceptionally clean underbody.

Exterior
Finished in Ruby Red Metallic (exclusive to the 40th), the body shows the ZR-1's distinctive wide rear quarters and deep front fascia, with paint that retains excellent depth and uniform gloss. Lighting is clear front to back; seals and weatherstripping present fresh. The painted roof and transparent top both fit properly; the clear panel stows in the hatch on the factory mounts (shown). Factory wheels remain bright with clean center caps; panel fit is consistent with low-mile cars.
Details to note from our photos
Clean door jambs with intact FMVSS & tire-loading decals (dated 04/93)
Crisp ""ZR-1"" and 40th Anniversary badges
Smooth, even finish across bumper covers, rockers, and hatch
Interior
The Burgundy leather cockpit is pure '93 ZR-1, with embroidered 40th headrests, power sport seats, and the driver-focused C4 dash. Leather shows light, honest creasing in the bolsters commensurate with mileage and age, with strong color and sheen. Switchgear graphics are bright; the digital/analog cluster is clear; carpets and hatch area are tidy. Climate control, Bose audio, power windows/locks/mirrors, and selective ride switchgear present cleanly.
What stands out
Two roof panels included; hatch storage hardware intact
Clean door panels and sill plates; factory fasteners and plastics undisturbed look
Original-style shifter/boot and console trim in excellent condition
Drivetrain
The heart of the King is the LT5 5.7L DOHC 32-valve V8-a hand-built alloy masterpiece developed with Lotus and assembled by Mercury Marine. For 1993, output rose to 405 hp via cylinder-head and calibration revisions, making these late cars the most desirable. The engine bay on this example is remarkably original and clean, with correct castings, tags, routing, and hardware visible. The ZF S6-40 6-speed shifts with trademark precision. Exhaust, catalysts, and heat shielding appear factory-correct in the underbody photos.
Chassis, Wheels & Brakes
As a ZR-1, this car features the FX3 Selective Ride Control system and the wider rear wheels/tires that required the unique rear quarters. The undercarriage photos show clean floor pans, tidy brake/fuel lines, intact composites, and OE mufflers, supporting the low-mile, gently-used history. Brakes and suspension components present dry and orderly.

Documentation & Condition Notes
Clean Carfax, two-owner history

Why It Matters
The late-run, 405-hp ZR-1s ('93–'95) are the pinnacle of C4 engineering-hand-built LT5, wide-body, FX3, and true 180-mph capability-made rarer still in 40th Anniversary Ruby. With 6k miles, two owners, clean Carfax, and both tops, this is a blue-chip ZR-1 you can show, preserve, or drive sparingly with confidence.
