An unmistakable symbol of Italian automotive design and performance, the Countach remains one of the most celebrated exotic automobiles ever produced, with its dramatic wedge-shaped bodywork, iconic scissor doors and legendary V12 powerplant.
This U.S.-specification Countach QV is powered by Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated 5.2-liter DOHC V12, featuring four valves per cylinder for a total of 48 valves. Factory-equipped with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and producing approximately 414 horsepower in U.S. specification, the V12 delivers its power through a gated 5-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. The Countach’s distinctive longitudinal mid-engine configuration and tubular steel spaceframe chassis contribute to the mechanical character that has made these cars so desirable among collectors and enthusiasts.
The exterior is finished in white and features the Countach’s signature angular styling, aggressively flared rear bodywork, prominent rear wing and unmistakable scissor doors. This example retains its U.S.-specification bumpers and lighting, along with Lamborghini O.Z. “Route O.Z.” alloy wheels. The staggered wheel and tire combination includes 225/50ZR15 Yokohama front tires and massive 345/35ZR15 Pirelli rear tires, contributing to the Countach’s legendary stance.

The factory Lamborghini tool kit is also included and stored in the trunk.
One of the particularly appealing aspects of this Countach is its extensive documented service history. Accompanying the vehicle is a substantial collection of invoices from Richlin Imports dating back to 2002, providing more than two decades of maintenance and repair documentation. Among the significant services performed was a major clutch replacement in 2007, during which the drivetrain assembly was removed and an updated Kevlar clutch disc and pressure plate were installed. The flywheel was resurfaced, the rear main seal was replaced and additional related seals and gaskets were serviced.
More recently, the vehicle underwent a comprehensive mechanical recommissioning at Richlin Imports, with an invoice totaling over $12,000. This extensive work included cleaning the fuel tanks, servicing the fuel injection system, replacing a fuel pump and fuel accumulator, and performing an engine tune-up with all 12 spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor. Additional maintenance included an engine oil and filter change, replacement of both front brake hoses, flushing and bleeding the brake hydraulic system, extensive air conditioning system repairs and installation of a new battery. The fuel mixture and ignition timing were also adjusted as part of the service.
