1988 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat – 8-Foot Bed, 351 V8, 103K Original Miles This 1988 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat is a highly original and well-kept example, showing just 103,000 actual miles. Powered by the 351 cubic inch V8, it’s equipped with an automatic transmission and loaded with options including factory air conditioning, dual fuel tanks, power windows, power locks, tilt steering, full gauge package, and AM/FM stereo. The body is super solid with no major rust issues ever — the underside is clean and original. The paint appears to be original and still presents beautifully, with straight panels and only minor wear consistent with age. All the factory trim and brightwork are intact and in excellent condition. Mechanically, the truck runs and drives great with excellent tires and smooth performance. The rear tank has a small leak, so currently only the front tank is used. The gas gauge functions intermittently but typically reads correctly. The passenger-side vent window lock mechanism is included (in the glovebox) and may be easily repairable. A very nice, well-preserved, and nicely optioned Ford pickup — solid, straight, and ready to enjoy or show! Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
