"Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1988 Ford Crown Victoria (officially the LTD Crown Victoria) is a definitive example of the classic American ""full-size"" sedan. It was a key year for the model, featuring the first significant exterior refresh of the Panther platform, which introduced a smoother, more aerodynamic front fascia and updated tail lamps. Built on a heavy-duty steel frame, the 1988 model was designed for comfort and durability rather than speed.
The 5.0L (302 ci) V8 with sequential port fuel injection, 150hp @ 3,200rpm and 270 lb-ft of torque.
4-speed AOD (Automatic Overdrive) transmission
Known for it's smooth ride and ""living room-like"" feel with standard split-bench seats that mimics a giant couch.
Today, the 1988 Crown Victoria is a popular choice for ""modern classic"" car enthusiasts due to its simple mechanics and robust build
