1987 Buick Regal T-Type, Turbocharged Performance, T-Tops, Champagne Gold, Beautiful Original Example If you're looking for one of the most underrated American performance cars of the 1980s, this beautiful 1987 Buick Regal T-Type deserves your attention. Sharing the same legendary turbocharged drivetrain that made the Grand National famous, the T-Type delivers the same exciting performance while offering a more refined and distinctive appearance. Finished in elegant Champagne Gold with a beautiful Tan bucket seat interior, this is a very original, well-preserved example that has clearly been cared for throughout its life. The first thing you'll notice is just how well this Regal presents itself. The Champagne Gold paint has a beautiful shine, and the body is exceptionally straight with excellent fit and finish. It has the kind of appearance that immediately reflects careful ownership and makes this Buick stand out at cruise nights and car shows alike. Under the hood is Buick's legendary 3.8 Liter Turbocharged V6 engine, an engine that forever changed the muscle car landscape in the 1980s. Known for producing incredible torque and surprising performance, these turbocharged Regals quickly earned a reputation for outperforming many V8-powered competitors of the era. Paired with an automatic transmission, this T-Type delivers smooth cruising with exhilarating turbocharged acceleration whenever you put your foot down. One of the most desirable features on this Regal is its factory T-Tops, allowing you to enjoy open-air driving while maintaining the sleek coupe styling that made these cars so popular. The Champagne Gold exterior pairs beautifully with the exceptionally clean Tan bucket seat interior, creating an upscale look that still turns heads nearly four decades later. Showing just 100,164 believed original miles, this Regal remains impressively original and has clearly been well maintained throughout its life. The interior is exceptionally clean, with well-preserved bucket seats, door panels, carpeting, dashboard, and trim that reflect the pride of ownership this car has enjoyed. Comfort and convenience features include power windows, power door locks, and a tilt steering column, making this classic Buick just as enjoyable to drive today as it was when new. As values continue to rise on turbocharged Buick performance cars, the T-Type has become increasingly sought after by enthusiasts who appreciate its unique styling, rarity, and connection to the legendary Grand National. With the same proven turbocharged platform, beautiful paint and body, outstanding originality, and timeless 1980s styling, this is a car that is equally at home at local cruise nights, Buick gatherings, or simply enjoyed on the open road. Past & Present Motor Cars was founded in June of 2018 by Jack and Jeff and began in 2 small warehouses in Ocala and Winter Garden, Florida. After seeing the business have steady growth in the first year and a half in March 2020 we moved our Main Location in Winter Garden to a new location that at the time seemed huge. We were a little nervous to take on this larger building and higher rent but we knew we had to THINK BIG. After getting moved in, that was the start of Covid. Just after getting settled in we put signs on the door saying we were only open by appointment. While it was a tough time in the world it actually was a good time to be in the car business especially the classic car business and we continued to see steady growth. After 2 1/2 years in that location we proceeded to acquire 4 buildings and lease a 5th building. This allowed for the operation we have today with 150+ Classic Cars and a Service Department. We are still doing the same thing we have done everyday since we opened, Great Customer Service, Owners that are Available and Accessible for our customers and very happy to talk cars anytime anywhere. We will never grow too big to be real with anyone! Keeping our commitment to our customers through straightforward business and ALWAYS doing the right thing! We are the same people with the same commitment as the day we opened and our slogan is and remains:
