1987 BMW L6 Coupe Finished in elegant Lachssilber Metallic (Paint Code 203) over a Gray leather interior, this 1987 BMW L6 Coupe represents the final and most luxurious evolution of BMW's iconic E24 Shark coupe. Offered exclusively in North America for a single model year, the L6 combined the proven performance of the 635CSi with an exceptionally appointed cabin, creating one of the most refined grand touring automobiles BMW produced during the 1980s. Power is provided by BMW's legendary 3.4-liter M30 inline-six, equipped with Bosch Motronic fuel injection and factory rated at 182 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque. Shifting is handled by a smooth ZF four-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the rear wheels and delivering the effortless highway performance and balanced handling that have made the E24 one of BMW's most celebrated chassis. The L6 distinguished itself from the standard 635CSi with an extraordinary level of luxury. Virtually every interior surface is trimmed in supple Gray leather, including the dashboard, center console, door panels, and seats, complemented by rich burl walnut wood accents throughout the cabin. Standard equipment included power-adjustable front seats with memory, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, premium audio system, power sunroof, power windows, power mirrors, anti-lock brakes, and factory alloy wheels, making the L6 BMW's flagship luxury coupe for the 1987 model year. Designed under the direction of Paul Bracq, the E24's unmistakable shark-nose front end, long hood, pillarless side profile, and graceful roofline have become hallmarks of BMW design. Finished in Lachssilber Metallic, the bodywork presents an understated elegance that perfectly complements the model's chrome brightwork and timeless proportions. The warm silver metallic finish accentuates the coupe's crisp body lines while reflecting the sophisticated character for which the L6 is known. Produced for only one model ye
