Unlike contemporary aftermarket conversions, BMW heavily engineered this factory cabriolet from the ground up, adding massive steel reinforcements to the rocker panels and unibody to preserve the trademark razor-sharp handling of the E30 chassis. Driven by the legendary 2.5-liter ""M20"" inline-six, the 325iC drops the fuel-economy-minded ""Eta"" engine of the 325e in favor of a free-revving, 168-horsepower analog performance engine that sings all the way to a 6,000 RPM redline. With its quad-halogen headlights, perfectly proportioned three-box design, and timeless manual soft top, this classic provides a pure, unadulterated connection to the road.
