Survivor Classic Car Services is extremely proud to present this very clean 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. This Camaro was originally a Canadian market export that has been returned to the USA around 2020. The speedometer was replaced with a MPH reading, rather than the export-only KPH reading. The Camaro was originally ordered with an AM only radio, as the original owner knew he would be upgrading it. Shortly after purchase, an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette player was installed as well as a pair of 6x9 speakers in a custom shelf in the hatchback area. The engine is left entirely original, with the obvious exception of maintenance items. The IROC has a clean CarFax and looks great in person. The original owner had hoped to purchase a Camaro with the 305 H.O., but due to extremely limited availability was not able to. He did dress up this Z28 with the H.O. decals and badges, however.
A few pumps of the accelerator and a turn of the key will have this Third Generation F-body purring like a kitten from a cold start. The aftermarket Borla exhaust gives a deep rumble, but is mellow enough that your ears wont be ringing after a longer drive. The black cloth & vinyl interior have help up exceptionally well and appear in as-new condition. This Camaro is a drivable time capsule! The clutch grabs easy and the transmission shifts through the gears like butter. The suspension is tight with no rubbing, creaking, or popping going over bumps in the road. It is easily seen the love that this Chevy has been given over the years!
