1985 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible – “Horse Chestnut” Elegance This 1985 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible is, in a word, incredible — both to see and to drive. Presented in near factory-new condition, this Corniche exudes timeless elegance and embodies the craftsmanship that defines the Rolls-Royce name. Exterior & Color: Finished in a rare and striking “Horse Chestnut” metallic paint, this color truly comes alive in the sunlight — a rich, refined tone that beautifully complements the car’s elegant lines. The convertible top remains in excellent condition, fitting tightly and presenting beautifully. Interior: Inside, the leather upholstery is supple and well-preserved, with no major wear or cracking. The dash pad is excellent, showing no cracks, and the wood veneers retain their warm, classic glow. All gauges are functional, with the exception of the fuel gauge, which is currently inoperative. Mechanical Condition: Powered by the legendary Rolls-Royce 6.75-liter V8, the Corniche runs and drives smoothly and quietly, just as a Rolls should. The air conditioning system is intact and holding refrigerant, though the compressor clutch is not currently engaging — likely a simple fix involving a fuse, relay, or pressure switch (Rolls-Royce used GM-sourced compressors for this system). So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
