1983 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 – Incredible Original Survivor – Matching Numbers – 75,341 Believed Original Miles – Cold A/C – T-Tops – Exceptional Condition! Unmolested Original Survivor | Approximately 90% Original Paint | Matching Numbers Engine | Original Automatic Transmission | Beautiful Blue Interior | T-Tops | Over $3,300 Just Spent on A/C and Transmission Service! They are only ORIGINAL once, and this beautiful 1983 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is an outstanding example of why originality matters! If you've been searching for an honest, unmolested, beautifully preserved third-generation Camaro Z28 that hasn't been modified, abused, or completely restored, this is one you absolutely need to see! With its matching numbers engine, original transmission, believed original mileage, beautiful factory color combination, and exceptional overall condition, this Camaro represents an increasingly difficult find in today's collector car market. Finished in gorgeous Light Blue Metallic with a beautiful Blue cloth bucket seat interior, this Z28 perfectly captures the excitement and unmistakable styling of Chevrolet's legendary third-generation Camaro. The sleek aerodynamic body, aggressive Z28 appearance, factory wheels, and iconic T-Tops make this one of the most recognizable American performance cars of the 1980s. And unlike so many examples that have been modified or heavily restored over the years, this Camaro has remained remarkably original! One of the most impressive features of this Z28 is that it retains approximately 90% of its original factory paint! The body is exceptionally straight, clean, and rust-free, including the floors, which is a tremendous advantage when considering a classic automobile of this age. The Light Blue Metallic finish presents beautifully, and the overall fit, finish, and condition of the car are truly impressive. This is exactly the kind of originality that collectors appreciate and cannot simply recreate with a fresh paint job. Open the doors and step back into 1983! The original Blue cloth bucket seat interior is in outstanding, near-new condition, showing just how carefully this Camaro has been maintained and preserved. The upholstery looks fantastic, the dashboard and interior appointments present beautifully, and the entire cabin has the clean, authentic appearance of a well-cared-for original automobile. Add in the desirable factory T-Tops, power windows, and air conditioning, and you have a classic Camaro that offers both vintage muscle car character and enjoyable cruising comfort. Under the hood is its original matching numbers engine, paired with the original 4-speed automatic transmission. This Camaro runs and drives exceptionally well, delivering smooth performance and the solid, comfortable road manners that make a well-preserved original car such a pleasure to own. The odometer currently shows 75,341 miles, believed to be original, and the condition of the vehicle certainly reflects the care it has received throughout its life. And here's something that makes this particular Camaro even more attractive: substantial money has JUST been spent making sure it is ready for its next owner! We recently invested $2,262.94 in redoing the air conditioning system, with the goal of making sure this Camaro's factory R12 A/C delivers the nice, cold air you want when enjoying your classic car. There is nothing better than cruising a beautiful vintage Camaro on a warm Florida afternoon with the air conditioning blowing nice and cold! Rather than simply advertising the car with working A/C, we made the investment to address the system and provide additional peace of mind for the next owner. In addition, the automatic transmission was just professionally serviced at a cost of $1,100, helping ensure this Z28 continues to deliver the smooth shifting and excellent driving experience it is known for. That's a total of $3,362.94 JUST SPENT on the air conditioning and transmission! These are meaningful mechanical investments that demonstrate the attention this Camaro has received and our commitment to presenting a properly serviced, enjoyable classic automobile. The next owner gets the benefit of these recent improvements without having to absorb those expenses themselves! The Camaro also features power steering, power brakes, power windows, an AM/FM CD stereo, factory 15-inch Z28 wheels, and white-letter performance tires. Everything is reported to function as it should, making this a classic that can be enjoyed rather than simply admired. What truly separates this Z28 from so many others on the market is its remarkable level of originality. Third-generation Camaros were frequently modified, raced, repainted, or driven hard throughout their lives. Finding one that still retains its original engine and transmission, approximately 90% original paint, original interior, and such an impressive overall presentation is becoming increasingly challenging. This is not a Camaro that has been pieced together or heavily modified to look good for a quick sale. This is a genuine, well-preserved survivor that proudly represents the way Chevrolet built these cars in 1983! Its beautiful colors, desirable factory equipment, excellent condition, and recent mechanical servicing make it an especially appealing example. Whether you're a serious Chevrolet collector, a longtime Camaro enthusiast, or someone looking to relive the excitement of the 1980s, this beautiful Z28 offers a wonderful opportunity to own a very special piece of American automotive history. If you've been searching for a clean, highly original, matching numbers 1983 Camaro Z28 with beautiful original paint, an exceptional interior, cold air conditioning, T-Tops, and excellent drivability, your search may be over! Past & Present Motor Cars was founded in June of 2018 by Jack and Jeff and began in 2 small warehouses in Ocala and Winter Garden, Florida. After seeing the business have steady growth in the first year and a half in March 2020 we moved our Main Location in Winter Garden to a new location that at the time seemed huge. We were a little nervous to take on this larger building and higher rent but we knew we had to THINK BIG. After getting moved in, that was the start of Covid. Just after getting settled in we put signs on the door saying we were only open by appointment. While it was a tough time in the world it actually was a good time to be in the car business especially the classic car business and we continued to see steady growth. After 2 1/2 years in that location we proceeded to acquire 4 buildings and lease a 5th building. This allowed for the operation we have today with 150+ Classic Cars and a Service Department. We are still doing the same thing we have done everyday since we opened, Great Customer Service, Owners that are Available and Accessible for our customers and very happy to talk cars anytime anywhere. We will never grow too big to be real with anyone! Keeping our commitment to our customers through straightforward business and ALWAYS doing the right thing! We are the same people with the same commitment as the day we opened and our slogan is and remains:
