1982 BMW 320i E21*includes new BILSTEIN Sport B8 Shock Absorber & H&R Springs, front and back* Truly dismayed to let it go, but need to due to living on the opposite coast. Revived halfway from the dead. Storage fees are just getting too much to finish the project. Been sitting in a garage since March 2022. Bought it during COVID as a restoration project, with the intention swapping the M10 with an M20 and turning it into my version of a 320is. Largely got as far as the interiorit's CLEAN. When purchased, it was in VERY rough shape. Took it to Meccanica; they told me that it was in better shape than most E21s they see with HALF the mileage. The good and the bad listed below: The good: - Frame is straight, most body panels are in good shape. - Almost everything on the car is original, no missing trim or badging. - New Bilstein B8 shocks and H&R springs, uninstalled - Replaced halogen headlights with Hella H4 Low/High Beams. - Refurbished seats, done by Julio Automotive Upholstery in Cypress Park, with covers from GAHH Automotive in Burbank - New carpets by Julio Automotive Upholstery. - 320is steering wheel (not pictured). - All new speakers with an aftermarket stereo that came with the car, which I'm honestly not crazy about. Exact original head unit sourced and included. - Replaced missing seatbelts, rearview mirror, pedals, floor mats all with OEM parts. - As of last year, new air and oil filters, spark plugs, air intake, radiator & fan. - Clutch is smooth, engine runs well last time I drove it. - Limo tints in the rearthey're well done, and nicely match the exterior IMO. - Blue plates! The bad: - It's been sitting for a while. Probably (definitely) needs new tires, oil change, battery, etc. Definitely needs to be towed. - There's more than 300k miles on the engine. Good candidate for a swap. - Speedometer jumpsprobably just a bad connection, never got around to fixing it. - Paint is not great. Lots of oxidation on the hood, and someone keyed it
