Cruisin Classics is pleased to present to you this 1981 Chevrolet Camaro. If you know second-gen F-bodies, you'll appreciate what's going on here. This Camaro has been brought back the right way, wearing a high-quality respray in its original red (75L/75U) that really pops without looking overdone. The gloss black headlight bezels add just enough contrast to sharpen the look. At a glance, it keeps that factory stance, but look closer, and you'll see it's sitting on 17-inch factory-style wheels instead of the original 15s, wrapped in BF Goodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires with plenty of life left. It's also a true T-top car (RPO CC1), and unlike most, the seals have already been replaced-so you get the open-air feel without the usual headaches. All the glass, including the tops, is in excellent shape.
Inside is where this car really backs up its story. It's got the factory bucket seats (RPO A51) and the correct red cloth deluxe interior (trim code 75C), and it all presents like it's barely been used. The dash is clean and crack-free-something you just don't see often-and all the gauges and lights work as they should. Even better, everything functions: ice-cold A/C, strong heat, and a blower that actually moves air. The factory FM radio is still in place and working, which fits the car's honest, unmolested feel.
Under the hood, it stays true to its roots with the numbers-matching 305, paired to the original Borg-Warner Super T-10 4-speed. It's the kind of setup that makes these cars fun-simple, mechanical, and engaging. You've got power brakes with discs up front, the factory-style A/C compressor with the system converted to R134a, and a Rochester Quadrajet carb doing its job up top. It now breathes through a brand-new dual exhaust system running from the manifolds all the way back to the tips, finished off with classic glasspack-style mufflers for that unmistakable tone. Out back is the GM 10-bolt, and the car benefits from newer shocks, tie rod ends, and subframe bushings, so it drives tight and sorted. The VIN includes an ""L"" designation, indicating this is a California car. This isn't a thrown-together build-it's a well-kept, properly maintained Camaro that still feels like what it was meant to be.

Here at Cruisin Classics, we understand that you have many options when choosing where you purchase your classic, muscle or collector car and we would like to thank you for considering us.
Cruisin Classics has been buying and selling cars for many years.. The majority were your average daily drivers but our passion has always been in muscle cars and hot rods so in 1996, Cruisin Classics built a 56,000 sq.ft. showroom located in Columbus, OH that they still operate out of today. All of our vehicles are hand-picked and selected to ensure they fit our inventory. This facility is now arguably one of the best-stocked collections for sale in the US housing hundreds of unique automobiles all under one roof. We invite you to our facility! There is something for everybody when you come to visit.
After years of serving as central Ohio's premiere classic car dealer at Cruisin Classics Auto Sales, we saw an unfulfilled need that was not being met for our clients. We loved helping match our clients with the classic and American muscle cars of their dreams. But what about after the purchase? We recognized that our clients needed a trusted resource to continue to care for their classic vehicles. It did not sit well with us that our valued clients and their incredible vehicles were being outsourced to, sometimes several, third-party resources for maintenance and performance needs. We also wanted to help the many people that we had met over the years who already owned classic vehicles which were in need of restoration, upgrades, and maintenance. Too often, we were seeing vehicles with so much potential left sitting in garages under covers because their owners did not know who to turn to for such specialized work. It is our goal to offer our clients a truly comprehensive, seamless, and enjoyable classic car ownership experience, from purchase to maintenance to storage. Thus, Cruisin Classics Performance Center was born. We have cherry-picked the most talented, experienced, and passionate team of technicians to offer our clients a true one-stop-shop solution for any and all of their classic car needs. Our honest business model has lasted almost 25 years to date and Cruisin Classics has a worldwide reputation as one of the best in the business.
Outside of the shop, this business has afforded us the opportunity to be actively involved in our community and fulfill our goal of supporting several local and national organizations that hold a special place in our hearts. We are proud sponsors of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus, the Columbus USO, Honor Flight, Special Olympics, multiple car clubs, and much more.
In conclusion, 100% customer satisfaction is our main goal. Always has been.. always will be. We would like to invite anyone considering one of our vehicles to come to our beautiful facility to inspect the car in person or send somebody on your behalf.
