Classic 1981 Campbell 24' v-drive hot rod. Boat is in excellent condition and everything works, not showroom new perfect but in remarkable condition for a 42 year old vessel. Gel coat and pecalon are very good, there are some stress cracks on the window corners and antennae mounting hole repairs documented in the photos. Upholstery is in great shape, one small and one medium tear on the front of the engine hatch/upper back of the rear seat documented in the photos. Engine is a .030" over 1/4" stroked 454 big block Chevy for a total of 489 ci and about 550hp. Induction is an Edelbrock ProFlo multiport EFI managed by a FAST controller. Boat has been gps'd at 62 mph at Lake Mohave on the Colorado river (elevation 640'). Transmission is a marinized, reverse valve body, manual shift TH400. 1st gear is only useful for idling in the harbor or no wake zone. Best performance comes from starting in 2nd gear and then shifting to 3rd while coming on plane. V-drive is a Champion unit with 8% overdriven gears. Underwater hardware has been modified for a more efficient/flatter ride than original. Propshaft strut was moved forward and the propshaft angle decreased. Propshaft diameter was increased from 1" to 1 1/8". The v-drive was moved forward to accommodate the new geometry. Cuddy cabin has a forward v-berth that can sleep two adults. Bimini top, with it's own cover, is included. Trailer is in excellent condition with hydraulic surge brakes and has recently been rewired with LED lights placed throughout. Minimal miles on tires, boat has been stored indoors for the last 10 years and has 2 new batteries. Feel free to and please ask questions, I will answer them to the best of my ability. No disappointments with this boat, it is turnkey and ready to go.
