1979 GMC Sierra Classic “Heavy Half” 454 — Survivor True rust-free survivor with excellent bones and a clean title. This Sierra Classic runs and drives well and is a strong candidate to enjoy as-is or take to the next level with a restoration. Powered by the factory 7.4L 454 (LF8) with approximately 100k miles, paired with an automatic transmission (MX1). Originally equipped with a 3.40 rear axle, now upgraded with a Yukon 4.10 Posi rear end and upgraded driveshaft. Engine has been rebuilt, and the transmission was rebuilt approximately six years ago. Equipped with the desirable Heavy Half / heavy-duty chassis package, including HD suspension and stabilizer bar. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
