1978 Mercedes-Benz 450SL – Roadster w/ Matching Hardtop, Fire Engine Red This 1978 Mercedes-Benz 450SL is a well-kept R107 roadster finished in Fire Engine Red with matching hardtop and tan interior. Equipped with its original 4.5L V8 paired with an automatic transmission, it delivers classic Mercedes-Benz style and drivability. Powertrain: 4.5L V8 producing 180 hp, automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive. Starts immediately and runs strong. Mileage: 166,000 miles. Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
