1978 GMC C10 Restomod | Twin-Purpose Street & Strip Truck This 1978 GMC C10 is a fully restored and highly modified square-body truck built to deliver exceptional street manners and serious drag strip performance. Combining modern LS power, premium components, and professional craftsmanship, this turnkey build represents a substantial investment and is ready to enjoy. Under the hood is a brand-new Thompson Motorsports 6.0L LS engine equipped with a billet 78/75 turbocharger, BTR Stage 2 turbo camshaft, LS6 cylinder heads, and a Holley Terminator X engine management system. The result is massive, reliable power with modern drivability and tuning flexibility. Power is transferred through a built 4L65E automatic transmission with a 3,000-stall converter, custom driveshaft, and a built rear end featuring 3.73 gears. Supporting modifications include dual Aeromotive fuel pumps, Injector Dynamics injectors, AN fuel lines, and a CX Racing air-to-water intercooler system. The chassis has been extensively upgraded with QA1 coilover suspension front and rear, a 4-link rear suspension setup, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, providing excellent handling, stability, and stopping power. Additional comfort and convenience features include Gen 5 Vintage Air climate control and AutoMeter digital gauges. Finishing off the aggressive stance are two-piece Rocket Racing wheels wrapped in wide performance tires. Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
