The W123 arrived in the United States for the 1977 model year, making this 240D part of the very first generation sold here.
Finished in clean condition Caledonia Green, this 240D carries the classic appearance that made these Mercedes-Benz sedans such recognizable cars of their era. Under the hood is the 2.4L diesel engine, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The 240D was the only W123 offered in the U.S. with a 4-speed manual, making the combination a particularly interesting part of this car's character.
