1976 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 4-Speed, Documented Survivor, Numbers Matching, 56K Miles Opportunities like this do not come around often. This highly documented and exceptionally original 1976 Pontiac Firebird Formula is a true survivor, representing the kind of authenticity and preservation that serious collectors are constantly searching for. Finished in its factory correct Sterling Silver Metallic (Color Code 13) over a striking and rare Firethorn Red bucket seat interior, this car delivers a bold and unmistakable presence. The color combination alone sets it apart, but it is the originality and documentation that truly elevate this Formula into a different category. With just 56,777 original documented miles, this Firebird retains its #'s matching 400 V8 engine paired to its original and highly desirable 4-speed manual transmission. This is the drivetrain enthusiasts want, and finding one that remains intact and documented like this is becoming increasingly difficult. The car is equipped with the W50 Special Package, adding to its collectability, along with power steering, power front disc brakes, factory air conditioning, and dual exhaust. It rides on its original PMD rally wheels, completing the correct factory look and stance. Inside, the Firethorn Red interior is in excellent original condition, showcasing how well this car has been cared for over the years. The seats, trim, and overall presentation reflect pride of ownership and preservation rather than restoration. The body is solid, straight, and clean throughout. The floors, frame, and trunk are rust-free and present exactly how you would hope in a well-preserved survivor. The exterior paint retains a strong shine and shows very well, further reinforcing the car’s honest and original character. On the road, this Formula delivers exactly what you would expect from a true Pontiac 400 paired with a 4-speed. It pulls strong, shifts confidently, and provides a driving experience that is both powerful and engaging. This is a car that not only shows well but truly performs. Accompanying the vehicle is its build sheet, adding another layer of documentation and confidence for the next owner. Past & Present Motor Cars was founded in June of 2018 by Jack and Jeff and began in 2 small warehouses in Ocala and Winter Garden, Florida. After seeing the business have steady growth in the first year and a half in March 2020 we moved our Main Location in Winter Garden to a new location that at the time seemed huge. We were a little nervous to take on this larger building and higher rent but we knew we had to THINK BIG. After getting moved in, that was the start of Covid. Just after getting settled in we put signs on the door saying we were only open by appointment. While it was a tough time in the world it actually was a good time to be in the car business especially the classic car business and we continued to see steady growth. After 2 1/2 years in that location we proceeded to acquire 4 buildings and lease a 5th building. This allowed for the operation we have today with 150+ Classic Cars and a Service Department. We are still doing the same thing we have done everyday since we opened, Great Customer Service, Owners that are Available and Accessible for our customers and very happy to talk cars anytime anywhere. We will never grow too big to be real with anyone! Keeping our commitment to our customers through straightforward business and ALWAYS doing the right thing! We are the same people with the same commitment as the day we opened and our slogan is and remains:
