Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this sharp 1972 Plymouth Road in red & blackThis 1972 example looks great with the factory N96 air grabber hood (a very rare option in 1972), black hood decals and rear spoiler. The paint quality is high-end- smooth and a deep gloss. A good number of muscle cars had grown in the early 70s, but Plymouths Road Runner managed to keep a serious contender look to it. The fast winding original 340 V8 looks mighty fine under the hood- and thats about all there is; this is a low option car intended to save power-robbing horsepower, so it could spank competitors wherever possible. Times were changing by 1972. Cars like this were end of an era, and becoming more valuable each day- especially when they are as nice as this one. The far out interior looks cool with the vinyl bucket seats, center console and slap-stick shifter. Options include AM/FM radio, rally wheels and white letter radial tires.
