1972 De Tomaso Pantera, only 53,000 miles, this beautiful mid-engine GT car was built in January of 1972 with the horsepower, performance, and desirable features found on the 1971 models, most importantly the high compression (11:1) Ford 351 cu in Cleveland engine rated at 330 HP, backed up by a ZF 5-speed manual trans-axle, which provided a proven top speed of over 155 MPH, plus the flat trunk, and 1971 style seats, the stunning Italian coachwork by Ghia is adorned with gorgeous White paint over a steel monocoque chassis, and an immaculate Black interior with a raised center console sourced from Hall Pantera, rack and pinion steering manages the curves and 4-wheel power disc brakes nicely take care of stopping, heavy duty auxiliary fans were added to handle any potential cooling issues, the temperamental factory A/C was upgraded to a more efficient Vintage Air system, the original tool kit is in the trunk, and extra insulation was added under the hood, and a gas filler extension was added for convenience, she comes with the 17 inch polished wheels shown with Michelin performance tires, and the original 15 inch alloy wheels fitted with racing tires which were never used, Marti Report, books and records, one of only 2,061 produced, this rare super car is offered at a fraction of it's Italian cousins, and can be serviced at your local Ford dealer, ready for show or go!
