This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle brings together the look, sound, and feel you want from a classic muscle car. Finished in beautiful red paint with black racing stripes, it features a cowl-induction hood with SS hood pins, dual sport mirrors, clean chrome, nice trim, good weatherstripping, and glass that presents well. A new set of American Racing chrome Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in radial tires gives the car an excellent stance, while the restored trunk and great-sounding dual exhaust round out the exterior.
Inside, you ll find a clean black interior with nice door panels, dash pad, carpeting, Chevelle floor mats, and intact seatbelts. The 4-speed manual transmission is controlled by a Hurst shifter, and the car has also been fitted with an RPM tachometer and auxiliary dual-gauge package. An upgraded stereo system with 6x9 speakers in the rear package tray adds another nice touch.
Under the hood is where this Chevelle really comes alive. Power comes from a monstrous big-block 454 V8 equipped with an aluminum intake, 4-barrel carburetor, headers, MSD Digital 6AL electronic ignition system, Optima YellowTop battery, upgraded alternator, and a large cooling fan. It also comes equipped with power steering and power front disc brakes.
Underneath, the car presents clean and is backed by a 12-bolt rear end. The factory color code on this 1971 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle is Code 11.
