INTRODUCTION: This 1971 C10 is the total package. It has been treated to a meticulous body off frame restoration with countless tasteful upgrades throughout. The body has been subtly refined to give it a cleaner appearance, while the stunning custom interior offers modern comfort. Under the hood is a potent 435-horsepower Blueprint 383 stroker, and underneath, the attention to detail is just as impressive as the top. This is a professionally built custom that's ready to be shown, driven, and thoroughly enjoyed.
EXTERIOR: Less is more, at first glance you don't realize all the customization but you know it looks good! It has been smoothed out by removing the marker lights, emblems, cowl vents, antenna, gas door and the stake bed pockets. The front end has a '67 grille and a smooth color matched bumper. In back it has a smooth tailgate and a custom roll pan in back with recessed license plate and exhaust ports. The body was given a beautiful gray metallic finish that's laid out evenly and polished to a glossy shine. Other tasteful upgrades include the Camaro SS grilles on the hood, but they're actually billet, and so are the mirrors, door handles and taillight bezels. It has Fesler flush mount glass and it has 1 piece door windows, the vent windows were removed for a cleaner look. It has LED headlights, taillights and reverse lights. It's rolling on 20-inch U.S. Mag wheels wrapped in G-Force tires.
INTERIOR: The red interior against the gray exterior is absolutely stunning and gives this truck a high end custom appearance! The cab was completely gutted and the floor was lined with sound deadening material, red carpet and reproduction mats. It's been rewired with a Painless Performance wiring system. It features a pair of comfortable bucket seats, with a six-way power driver's seat, and a center console that folds up to accommodate a third passenger when needed. The custom dash is equipped with a flush mounted Bluetooth infotainment system, along with upgraded speakers, tweeters, and subwoofers for excellent sound quality. The Intellitronix gauges are bright, crisp, and easy to read. A tilt steering column with billet levers is topped by a deluxe steering wheel, while a billet rearview mirror, new visors, and an LED dome light complete the cabin. The attention to detail continues with custom door panels featuring billet armrests, billet switches for the power windows and power locks, and red three point retractable seat belts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This truck has the power to back up its looks! Under the hood is a Blueprint Engines 383 stroker producing a stout 435 horsepower. It's topped with a Weiand aluminum intake, AED prepared 750 Holley dual feed carburetor, MSD ignition, and stainless steel headers. A vacuum reserve canister has been added to ensure plenty of vacuum for the power brakes despite the performance cam. The engine is beautifully dressed with aluminum valve covers and a matching air cleaner. A Front Runner serpentine drive system with billet brackets powers the mini A/C compressor, modern alternator, and power steering. Braking is handled by a Wilwood master cylinder, while an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, a custom shroud, and a billet overflow tank keep everything running cool. The engine compartment itself is a work of art. It features extensive custom metalwork, including a smoothed firewall, smoothed inner fenders, and a custom front filler panel, all finished in a matte version of the body color for a subtle, high end appearance. Billet hood hinges and a custom hood catch are the finishing touches. The fit, finish, and attention to detail are exceptional.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The bed is just as impressive as the rest of the truck. It features custom inner bed panels and inner fenders with a cohesive design that ties everything together. The metal surfaces are painted with the same smooth, glossy finish as the exterior. A thick, fitted rubber mat protects the bed, making it practical and usable without sacrificing its custom look. Under the mat is the relocated fuel filler door.
UNDERSIDE: The quality of this body off frame restoration is obvious the moment you look underneath. Every component reflects meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. The suspension has been completely rebuilt and upgraded with Hotchkiss tubular control arms, 2½ inch drop spindles, 2 inch lowering springs, and a heavy duty front sway bar. The rear suspension had the springs bushings and shocks replaced. The brake system has been replaced and upgraded with Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, with drilled and slotted rotors up front. It also features a relocated custom aluminum fuel tank and a relocated battery in a custom box. The TIG welded stainless steel dual exhaust is beautifully fabricated with MagnaFlow mufflers and custom tips exiting through the rear valance. Looking up, the engine is spotless and equipped with a high torque starter. The rebuilt 4L80E overdrive automatic features a Hughes Performance aluminum pan and sends power through a custom driveshaft to a rebuilt 9-inch rear end with 3.73 gears. The floors, frame, and all of the metal surfaces are incredibly smooth and clean, and it appears that every nut and bolt has been replaced.
