Now available at MGM Classic Cars is this stunning 1970 Plymouth ?Cuda, a real BS23H-code car that originally left the factory with a 340 CID 4-barrel V8. Today it has been professionally upgraded with a built 440 CID Mopar V8 that runs exceptionally well and delivers the legendary big-block power every Mopar enthusiast is looking for. Power is transferred through the legendary 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission, which shifts exactly as it should.
According to the original fender tag, this ?Cuda retains its highly desirable factory FY1 Sublime High Impact Green color, one of the most iconic Mopar colors ever produced. It also came factory-equipped with black hockey-stick side stripes, black bucket seat interior with center console, hood pins, tinted glass, AM radio, and black vinyl top. Today the car maintains its unmistakable muscle car appearance while benefiting from tasteful performance and cosmetic upgrades.
Lift the hood and you?ll find the powerful 440 V8 featuring an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, black Mopar valve covers, and a clean, detailed engine compartment. Even better, the hood latch, radiator core support, and both front fenders retain their matching factory VIN stampings, adding confidence to the authenticity of this genuine ?Cuda.
The exterior is simply striking. The Sublime Green paint grabs attention everywhere it goes and is complemented by black AAR-style side stripes, AAR ?Cuda emblems added for appearance, hood pins, rear spoiler, and fog lights. The chrome, trim, weatherstripping, and glass are all in very good condition, giving the car outstanding curb appeal from every angle. It rides on classic Keystone wheels that complete the aggressive period-correct stance.
Inside you?ll find a beautifully presented black interior featuring new bucket seats, new front and rear seat belts, new interior door panels, new dash pad, new floor mats, and a factory center console. A Rallye instrument cluster with an upgraded triple gauge package keeps an eye on engine vitals. The original Rallye clock is currently inoperative, but in our experience these clocks often come back to life by simply cleaning the contact tabsa common fix we?ve successfully performed many times.
Open the trunk and you?ll find it professionally refinished in the same beautiful FY1 Sublime Green as the exterior, providing a clean, finished appearance throughout the car. Underneath, this ?Cuda is exceptionally clean and solid, reflecting the care it has received over the years.
