1970 Oldsmobile 442 455 V8 Hardtop REAL 442!
Now for sale at MGM Classic Cars is this absolutely beautiful 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Hardtop, finished in classic white exterior paint with a black vinyl top. This is one sharp-looking muscle car with an excellent stance and all the right equipment!
The exterior shows beautifully with great chrome, trim, weatherstripping and glass. You ll also find the signature 442 bulge hood, dual sport mirrors, Oldsmobile Rally wheels wrapped in BFG Goodrich raised white-letter tires, and excellent 442 badging throughout. The white-and-black color combination gives this Oldsmobile a timeless muscle-car appearance.
Under the hood is the legendary 455 V8, upgraded with Holley Sniper EFI, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, upgraded aluminum radiator and chrome alternator. This beautiful engine compartment shows extremely well! Additional equipment includes Vintage Air air conditioning, power steering and power disc brakes, making this 442 just as enjoyable to drive as it is to look at.
Backing the 455 is an automatic transmission with a Hurst Dual/Gate shifter and a 12-bolt rear end with Positraction. Underneath, this Oldsmobile is super clean and you ll also find the rear suspension sway bar. This car runs, drives, shifts and stops excellent!
Open the doors and you ll find a gorgeous black bucket-seat interior with a factory-style center console, Hurst shifter, clear gauges, beautiful factory steering wheel, upgraded radio and Holley Sniper EFI controls. The dash pad, carpeting, door panels, rear package tray and headliner are all in very good condition. You ll also find black rubber floor mats, 6x9 rear speakers and clean inner and outer door jambs.
Pop the trunk and you ll find another clean, well-presented area complete with trunk mats. From the engine compartment to the interior, trunk and undercarriage, this real 442 is a muscle car you ll be proud to own and show.
