The car was treated to a thorough restoration – comprehensive photos included – in which the color was changed to a vibrant Signal Red, contrasting nicely with the beautiful Jaguar chrome wire wheels mounting V-rated Dunlop SP Sport radial tires. Beneath the bonnet is the familiar 4.2L straight-line 6-cylinder engine with dual Stromberg carburetors. It’s paired with the manually shifted 4-speed gearbox. It has a black soft top, while black upholstered leather seats provide comfort and support. A full complement of clearly legible gauges and a wood-rimmed steering wheel round out the interior. Other distinguishing features include the famous tilt front end and the well-engineered independent rear suspension with inboard disc brakes.
