This vehicle pairs a factory original 1970 chassis with a matched Ford drivetrain swapped from a 1973-1974 donor car. Power comes from a 302 cubic inch V8 small block engine, cast on January 23, 1973. The V8 sends power to a Ford C4 3 speed automatic transmission featuring a 1974 Mustang engineering design code. A factory correct, front loading Ford 8 inch rear end with a smooth back housing completes the reliable drivetrain.
The exterior is finished in Classic Red With Black Stripes and rides on a set of period correct 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels. Inside, the cabin is equipped with Standard Black vinyl front bucket seats, and the odometer currently reads 73,113 miles. Originally built at Ford’s Dearborn, Michigan assembly plant, this Mustang is a clean, driver quality classic ready for the road.
