Factory Short Bed | Custom Trim | 240ci I6 | 3 Speed Manual | 3.00 Maunal This 70 F100 Shortbed was the recipient of a recent body off restoration which included stripping the truck and refinishing the paint in a beautiful two-tone, Light green with a Wimbledon white cab roof. Replacing all lights, chrome, trim, glass, seals, and more. The interior was also restored and features modern gauges and custom upholstery. Power comes from the original 240c,i, Inline 6 mated to a Column-Shift 3-Speed Transmission! The engine runs great and the transmission shifts flawlessly. You can daily drive it how it sits currently or you have a drop-in ready canvas for the drivetrain of your liking! Completing the look of this F100 is its lowered stance which comes from dropped beam front suspension and new Eaton Detroit Springs lowering leafs in the rear. Rolling on 18-inch Detroit Steel Smoothie wheels wrapped in Cooper Evolution 235/55R18 tires, ultimately maintaining a smooth ride quality while dramatically improving its appearance. The underside of this F100 boasts a clean rust free and coated frame. Hedman headers feed a a tasteful sounding true dual system which exits underneath the new chrome rear bumper. The factory Axle received a rebuild and spins 3.00 gears which allows this truck to comfortable cruise at higher speedsThese dent side trucks are super desirable and hard to find in a factory short bed! This would be a great truck for someone to enjoy just how it sits, but it is also a great platform to build off of with the most expensive chore out of the way! (Paint&Body) Included with sale are build photos and receipts, and a deluxe Marti Report! With a deep passion for all things automotive, LaFontaine Classic Cars celebrates the storied automotive heritage of the Motor City and looks to make the classic car of your dreams a reality.
Founded by Michael LaFontaine Sr. and his two grandsons, Zackary and Mackenzie Hinsperger, LaFontaine Classic Cars offers guests an unmatched offering of iconic classic vehicles – from weekend cruisers to Concours quality show vehicles.
Just prior to the passing of the matriarch of LaFontaine Automotive Group, Maureen LaFontaine, the building in downtown Milford became available and it was the ideal location to launch LaFontaine Classic Cars. The attention to detail and automotive nostalgia throughout is a tribute to Maureen and her everlasting legacy.
The showroom aims to bring buyers back in time to a more classic feel. In addition to all the vehicles in the showroom, the space is decorated with vintage signs from vehicle brands of the past. Not only are there vehicles in the building, but the parking lot to the south contains many others available for purchase.
Michael Sr. commented, “This area is prefect for us as we have a lot of roots in Milford and absolutely love this quaint downtown. We look forward to welcoming fellow automotive enthusiasts through our showroom doors and they can expect to receive the same Family Deal feeling people have come to expect at any of our other dealerships. It’s all about personalizing the experience and having fun at the same time.”
LaFontaine Classic Cars acquires vehicles several ways, with a majority of them coming through auction and Michael Sr.’s personal collection.
The shop is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. More information, including an online listing of vehicles, can be found at lafontaineclassiccars.com.
