"55-Years-Owned 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS LS6 454 4-Speed
Gobi Beige (50) over Gold cloth/vinyl • Dark Gold vinyl roof (H) • CRV-suffix LS6 replacement • Muncie M22 • Positraction (G80) • Arlington-built • Partial build sheet & period literature
Overview
Collectible Motorcar is proud to offer this 55 years of single-family stewardship, this Arlington, Texas–built 1970 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe presents as a true SS-equipment, LS6-spec, 4-speed car that was dealer-warrantied with a replacement 454 LS6 shortly after new and then sold to its long-term owner in 1970. Finished from the factory in Gobi Beige (50) with black stripes and a Dark Gold vinyl roof (H), it retains hallmark SS details, benefits from careful mechanical refreshing in preparation for sale, and is accompanied by a partial build sheet, period magazines/brochures, a clean Montana title, and a set of 1970-dated LS6 cylinder heads included loose.
Rarity note: According to the LS6 Registry, only three LS6 Chevelles are recorded in Gobi Beige. Given this car's color/trim combo and equipment, it could be a unique (1-of-1) example within that extremely small subset. (Prospective buyers should perform their own due diligence with the registry.)

Why This LS6 Matters
The LS6 sits at the summit of Chevelle performance-advertised 450 hp in 1970 and revered ever since. Finished in uncommon Gobi Beige, verified by its 50 H paint/roof codes, and backed by a CRV-suffix LS6 replacement with a Muncie M22 and G80 Positraction, this car delivers the specification enthusiasts want with the visual understatement only Gobi Beige can provide. With only three Gobi Beige LS6 cars listed in the LS6 Registry, this example's combination of color, trim and equipment makes it a potential one-of-one opportunity for collectors seeking rarity with real road presence.
