"1970 Chevrolet Chevelle two-door hardtop, believed to be a true SS equipped with a 454 big block engine and the ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 (TH400) automatic transmission. Originally cranberry red exterior with black vinyl bucket seat and center console interior, correct vintage date-coded wheels, and dual exhaust system. Features proper SS components like power steering, power brakes, and a cowl induction hood with hood pins. Minor imperfections consistent with a driven vehicle but overall presenting a clean, tight-running classic muscle car. Inside, shifted by a horseshoe shifter on the center console, and a functioning digital retro style AM/FM stereo, complemented by aftermarket gauges for oil pressure, temperature, and voltage. The engine bay is clean and well-equipped, featuring headers, an Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor, aluminum radiator with dual fans, serpentine belt system, aluminum valve covers, an open element air cleaner, and HEI ignition system. This car includes a hidden security feature, before turning the key to start, hold the cigarette lighter in. On the road the Chevelle's exciting smooth performance, effective brakes, and responsive cornering are evident.
