1969 Triumph TR6
A true icon of British open-top motoring, this 1969 Triumph TR6 is a beautifully presented example finished in its factory-correct shade of White (Code 19), embodying the timeless styling and raw driving character that made the TR6 a legend among classic sports cars. With its long hood, short rear deck, and purposeful stance, this roadster delivers an authentic vintage driving experience paired with subtle modern enhancements for comfort and usability.
Power comes from the original 2.5-liter inline-six, equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and factory-rated at 104 horsepower and 142 lb-ft of torque. The engine delivers smooth, torque-rich performance, perfectly suited for spirited backroad drives or relaxed cruising. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, offering precise engagement and a direct connection to the road that defines the classic British sports car experience.
The exterior presents exceptionally well, highlighted by a replacement black convertible top that complements the crisp white finish. Classic design cues include chrome bumpers, a bullet-style driver-side mirror, and a distinctive front grille accented with a red stripe, adding a subtle touch of sportiness. The car rides on 15-inch silver steel wheels with polished trim rings, wrapped in Coker Classic redline tires, giving it an unmistakably period-correct look. Braking is handled by front disc and rear drum brakes, while the rear suspension has been upgraded with tube shocks, enhancing ride quality and overall drivability.
Inside, the cabin retains its vintage charm with black vinyl bucket seats and a wood veneer dashboard insert that adds warmth and classic elegance. The three-spoke steering wheel, wrapped in vinyl, frames a 140-mph speedometer and tachometer, while auxiliary gauges-including oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level-are centrally mounted for easy visibility. The five-digit odometer shows just 41,000 miles, consistent with the car's well-preserved condition.
Blending classic style with thoughtful upgrades, the interior also features modern conveniences such as a Kicker KMC2 digital media receiver with Bluetooth connectivity, USB input, and retrofitted Yamaha rear speakers, allowing you to enjoy your favorite music while cruising. Additional amenities include a locking glovebox and heater, making this TR6 both enjoyable and practical for a variety of driving conditions.
This 1969 Triumph TR6 represents a fantastic opportunity to own a well-maintained, tastefully upgraded example of one of Britain's most beloved roadsters. With its classic looks, engaging performance, and subtle modern touches, it is equally suited for weekend drives, local shows, or as a standout addition to any collection. Hello and welcome to LRA AUTO SALES. We purchased a Chevrolet Dealership almost three years ago and turned it into a Quality Pre-Owned Auto Superstore and Muscle & Classic Car Museum.
I named it LRA Enterprises Auto Museum and Auto Sales which encompasses my two son’s initials and mine. I wanted it to become a family oriented place where parents could take their sons & daughters to and show them what cars use to be like in their era and where they can purchase a car of their era. Where a husband and wife could bring their children to and link the gap of automotive history from present back to the past.
We pride ourselves in displaying some of automotive history’s greatest and most rarest cars ever built. Where names such as Corvette, Super Sport, BOSS 429, MOPAR and HEMI are common place. We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
We offer a “one stop shop” kind of atmosphere and offer all aspects of sales, service, auto body and collision and towing. We encompass a full array of Cars and Trucks for sale from the 1950’s up to current day. We also have a Speed Shop on site, offering everything from wheels to accessories and even dyno runs for measuring horsepower.
We are located at 3114 Veterans Highway / Route 413 in Bristol PA and provide quality pre-owned cars and quality pre-owned trucks to all the surrounding areas of Bristol.
For customized driving directions, contact us today at: 215-781-3790.
