"This 1969 Fiat 500 is a fixed-roof My Car example built by Carrozzeria Francis Lombardi in conjunction with Fiat. It is powered by a 650cc inline twin equipped with twin carburetors and linked with a four-speed manual transaxle. The car is finished in silver over red leather and underwent an interior refurbishment in 2023 that included retrimming the seats, door panels, and headliner. Equipment includes a raised hardtop, a revised front fascia, side mirror, pop-out quarter windows, 12? steel wheels, a lowered suspension, a wood shift knob, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
A 120-km/h speedometer and warning lights are integrated into the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 52k kilometers.
An air-cooled 650cc inline twin with a side-draft Weber carburetor has been installed in place of the 499cc unit. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle. An oil change was performed and the battery was replaced in 2024. An Abarth alloy valve cover is included in the sale. It is also fitted with a sport exhaust system.
Here are the consignor's comments: ""This 1969 Fiat 500 Francis Lombardi my car was acquired by the previous owner in 2019 and brought to the US from Palermo, Sicily. The engine had been modified in Italy to a 650cc twin featuring a Weber 40DCO carburetor and reportedly rebuilt approximately 5k miles ago. Previous owner also put in a new complete interior.
Under current ownership the engine and transmission was completely removed to effectively address oil leaks in September, 2024.
This car currently has 52k kilometers ( approximately 32k miles ) and drives beautifully!""
