INTRODUCTION: Old school meets modern tech! A cowl hood, redline tires wrapped around poverty hubcaps and an interior that looks stock gives the impression it is stuck in 1969! But that is not the case considering it has a fuel injected LS engine, a 5-speed, modern air conditioning and RetroTech gauges. It looks old school cool but offers modern performance and reliability. Just get in, turn the key, and drive into some excitement!
EXTERIOR: Tough yet tasteful! The steel cowl induction hood, fender mounted 427 badges, SS trim, tinted windows, and big fat tailpipes peeking out behind the rear tires really give this car a sinister look. The Cortez silver paint has been neatly applied and polished to a slick and reflective finish. Looking down the side of the body it is nice and straight with smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels have been painstakingly aligned and the doors close easily with minimal effort. All the bright work has a lustrous shine. The bumpers have been re-chromed. The headlights and tail lights are both crystal clear. It's rolling on a set of 15 inch radial redline tires mounted to body colored still rims with poverty hubcaps.
INTERIOR: Thoughtfully upgraded! They didn't lose the original look and that's what I really like about it. Several upgrades include Dakota digital gauge cluster with tachometer and digital display, tilt column, Vintage Air electric climate control, Retrosound digital stereo with hands-free calling, and Holley Terminator X touch screen controller. The headliner, sun visors, carpeting, dash pad, door panels, and rear shelf were all replaced. The front and rear bench seats were both recovered and feel fantastic. The new and upgraded 5 speed manual shifter sits proudly front and center for you driving excitement.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Fuel injected fun! The 6.0 liter LS engine is nicely dressed with a Holley EFI intake manifold, Holley Sniper throttle body, blacked out A/C compressor, blacked out alternator and much more. Upgraded aluminum heads are a very nice addition. It is also equipped with a hydraulic clutch, new master cylinder, and power steering. The radiator has also been upgraded with a large aluminum unit, electric fan, and fancy overflow can. The steel cowl induction hood lifts easily thanks to a set of EM strut assisted hinges. The original cowl tag is still in place. All the hoses and belts look like new. The underside of the hood, fenderwells, and firewall have all been neatly painted black.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and inside the jamb are both painted Cortez Silver. The weatherstrip was replaced and the trunk light works. Inside is a very practical master kill switch linked to the relocated battery inside a Taylor safety box. The trunk pan is all clean rust free metal with a neatly applied spatter finish paint.
UNDERSIDE: Ready to roll! The suspension has been upgraded with coilover gas shocks, fat tubular control arms and swaybar. In back it has new springs, bushings, shocks and upgraded with a swaybar. The 4 wheel disc brake set up will stop you on a dime and even the emergency brake is hooked up. Long tube headers lead to a new Hooker stainless steel exhaust system with x-pipe, big fat tubes, and tips that exit behind the rear tires. The gas tank and fuel lines were both replaced and are compatible with the fuel injection. Looking up at the 6.0 liter LS engine you'll see a nice Holley aluminum oil pan and high torque starter. The upgraded Tremec 5-speed manual transmission has a heavy duty scatter shield, hydraulic clutch and a custom trans brace. A rebuilt driveshaft transfers the power back to the 12 bolt posi rear end with upgraded aluminum girdle cover. The floors are solid and rust free with nice satin black finish paint.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.
CONCLUSION: Need to get your engine revving again? This easy to use street beast will certainly do the trick!
