For your consideration, an original 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. One (1) of the 10,351 units produced with the L36 code (427 cubic inch, 390 HP) engine. The original engine is gone and the vehicle is currently powered by a rebuilt 454 big block and equipped as follows according to the listed RPO codes:
G81=Posi-traction Rear Axle (3.36 to 1 ratio)
J50=Power brakes (disc, all four wheels)

This car would be classified as a decent driver (#3 on the classic car scale of 1 to 6) that you can take out on the weekend for a joy ride, go to the drive-in, or attend cruise night with the local car club. The speedometer/odometer, tachometer, and gauges all work (even the clock). Paint and finish (appears to have had one re-paint) on the car would be defined as a \"20 footer\" with imperfections, scratches and chips. Bucket seats and carpeting have been recently refreshed in the interior. The vehicle has the typical normal wear and use for a 55 year old car and is priced accordingly.
These early C3 generation cars (1968-1972) with both front and rear chrome bumpers seem to be drawing increased attention and focus in the classic car industry and have been increasing in value.
