1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this iconic 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS as it turns heads with its striking Red exterior paired with bold white racing stripes and a classic black vinyl interior. Under the hood sits a professionally built 454 big-block engine bored .030 over, equipped with a Holley Sniper EFI fuel injection system for crisp throttle response and reliable power. A new starter kit, twin high-powered electric fans, and new fuel lines connected to a new fuel tank ensure optimal reliability, while the entire setup has been expertly dyno-tuned by Bluesky Performance in New Jersey. Power is routed through a crisp Tremec 5-speed manual transmission down to a robust Moser 12-bolt rear end. The aggressive exhaust note comes from long-tube headers running into a new Pypes 3-inch stainless steel exhaust with Race Pro mufflers and oval stainless tips, complete with new stainless electric cutouts controlled by a dash-mounted "mild to wild" switch.
The chassis and suspension have been thoroughly upgraded to deliver modern sports car performance. Up front, it features a Hotrods to Hell Stage 3 kit with tubular upper and rectangular tube lower control arms, custom-valved Bilstein shocks, and a dyno-tuned 12.7:1 fast-ratio steering box with upgraded idler arms and tie rod ends. The rear utilizes a Hotrods to Hell CenterDrive truckarm kit with matched springs and shocks. Stopping power is exceptional thanks to a new electric brake booster mated to Wilwood 6-piston Superlite calipers squeezing slotted GT rotors. The Chevelle sits on an aggressive stance courtesy of American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels (17-inch front, 18-inch rear) wrapped in new Nitto NT555 G2 tires (245/45/17 front, 275/40/18 rear), while new LED headlights with high/low functions light up the night.
Inside, the refreshed black vinyl cabin seamlessly mixes classic muscle car style with modern convenience. Controls feature a Grant wood steering wheel, a new GM manual center console kit with a billet aluminum shift knob, a new GM push-pedal brake, and fresh GM lap seatbelts. The dash is equipped with modern Dakota Digital gauges, a Vintage Air system to keep the cabin cool year-round, and a retro-style AM/FM/Aux/Bluetooth radio. Rounding out the interior upgrades, the windows have been converted using new Nu-Relics power window kits, complete with new regulators, motors, and switches for smooth, effortless operation.Your inspection is invited!
