1969 Chevrolet Chevelle
Pro Touring Restomod
Here is an absolutely gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Pro Touring Restomod, finished in stunning Cortez Silver paint with contrasting racing stripes. This Chevelle has the classic muscle-car appearance backed by a serious modern drivetrain, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and a beautifully finished interior.
Under the hood sits a fresh-built 468ci big-block Chevrolet V8 featuring aluminum heads, forged pistons, 10.5:1 compression, roller cam, roller lifters, roller rockers, and ZZ502 Ram Jet fuel injection. The fuel-injection system utilizes 50-lb MSD injectors with FAST EFI engine management, while ignition duties are handled by an MSD 6AL, MSD distributor, crank trigger, and MSD wires.
Cooling and fuel delivery have also been extensively upgraded with a Meziere electric water pump, Griffin aluminum radiator, 16-inch electric cooling fan, and Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump. A set of Doug s ceramic-coated headers feeds into a brand-new Pypes stainless-steel exhaust system with Chevelle exhaust tips, giving this big block the sound it deserves.
Backing the 468 is a GM 4L80E automatic overdrive transmission controlled by a TCI transmission controller and operated through a B&M MegaShifter. Power is sent to a stout 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 Positraction gears.
The Pro Touring upgrades continue underneath with Global West tubular control arms, QA1 front coilovers, Hotchkis rear suspension, and adjustable Strange billet shocks. Four-wheel disc brakes provide upgraded stopping performance, while a new set of 17-inch American Racing wheels and tires gives the Chevelle an aggressive stance.
Inside you ll find a beautifully restored all-new interior featuring AutoMeter gauges and a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo, combining the classic Chevelle appearance with modern convenience.
The car underwent an extensive restoration approximately 15 years ago, including replacement quarter panels, fenders, and doors, and has since been transformed into the powerful Pro Touring machine you see today.
