1969 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE
This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle delivers the unmistakable look and attitude of a classic American muscle car while incorporating carefully selected modern performance and comfort upgrades. The car has undergone a frame-off restoration and is powered by a 454ci big-block V8 featuring a four-bolt main and roller valvetrain, backed by a 700R4 automatic transmission and B&M shifter. The engine is equipped with an Edelbrock intake and air cleaner, ACES fuel injection with a dash-mounted touchscreen controller, billet pulleys with a serpentine belt system, Hooker headers, chrome alternator, aluminum radiator, and dual electric cooling fans. A 3-inch stainless-steel dual exhaust system gives the big block the sound and flow expected from a properly built Chevelle.
Power is transferred through a stout 12-bolt Positraction rear end with 3.80 gears, while power steering and power disc brakes make the car enjoyable on the street. The chassis has also been upgraded with new front-end steering components, along with slotted disc brake rotors front and rear. Custom Ridler wheels wrapped in Nitto tires complete its aggressive stance and complement the upgraded braking and steering components.
Inside, the Chevelle retains its classic character while benefiting from modern upgrades, including a digital dash, B&M shifter, Procar black vinyl bucket seats, and center console. A Kicker audio system with speakers and subwoofer provides upgraded sound without taking away from the car's muscle-car personality. Finished in a striking deep red with a contrasting black vinyl top and black interior, this Chevelle retains an authentic appearance inside and out while incorporating modern performance, drivability, comfort, and technology. It is a thoughtfully upgraded example that combines the presence and character of a classic 1969 Chevelle with the enhancements enthusiasts appreciate for today's cruising and show circuit. Hello and welcome to LRA AUTO SALES. We purchased a Chevrolet Dealership almost three years ago and turned it into a Quality Pre-Owned Auto Superstore and Muscle & Classic Car Museum.
I named it LRA Enterprises Auto Museum and Auto Sales which encompasses my two son’s initials and mine. Where a husband and wife could bring their children to and link the gap of automotive history from present back to the past.
We pride ourselves in displaying some of automotive history’s greatest and most rarest cars ever built. Where names such as Corvette, Super Sport, BOSS 429, MOPAR and HEMI are common place. We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
